This directory contains fasta files and related statistics
for human genomic sequence in the ENCODE regions, for 
3 builds of the human genome, prior to the initial ENCODE
reference build, hg16 (NCBI Build 34):

    * June 2002 (UCSC hg12).
    * Nov 2002 (UCSC hg13).
    * Apr 2003 (UCSC hg15).

Note: these sequence files contain the primary as well
as the backup regions.  There are 44 primary regions
(30 randomly selected, and 14 manually selected),
plus 12 backup regions, which may be used if there
is a problem with a primary region.
