These files were originally made available for download on July 6, 2000.

This directory contains the May 24 2000 Genbank freeze
ordered and oriented according to the corresponding 
fingerprint map from Wash U taking into account overlap
between fragments and bridging mRNA, EST, and BAC end pairs.
This includes the following files:

chromFa.zip - The working draft sequence in fa format.
         This contains a 'chrN.fa' file for each chromosome.
	 In addition there is also a smaller chrN_random.fa
	 for many chromosomes, containing sequences for
	 clones that have been assigned to that chromosome
	 but which currently can't be assigned a definite
	 position within the chromosome.
chromAgp.zip - A description of how the working draft was
         generated from fragments.
contigFa.zip - The working draft sequence one file per
         fingerprint contig in fa format.  Unpacks
	 with one directory for each chromosome and
	 one subdirectory for each contig.
contigAgp.zip - Description of how the working draft was generated from
	 fragments at a fingerprint contig level.
